Aranarth

Sohn of Arvedui and legitimate heir to the throne of Arthedain. He lost many of his men in the battle of Fornost and had to flee alone.

Morwen

Messenger from Gondor. She was sent on an errand to bring King Arvedui a message.

Míriel

A Sinda Elf, who lives alone in the woods of Arthedain. She is befriended with Mentha and they often visit each other.

Mentha

Half-Hobbit, has been living for some time out of the Shire. Mentha was banished because her father was a Man.

Eryniel

The younger sister of Aranarth. She could escape after the battle of Fornost was lost and gathered some of her people around her to come to Aranarth’s help.

Nazgûl

They are the servants of Sauron and enslave all the free lands of Middle-earth. The Witchking mostly attacked Arthedain at this time. The realm fell under the attack of the Black Riders and their supporters.

Waldläufer

A small number of Men who survived the attacks against Arthedain. They are loyal to the king and some of them are even acqainted to the royal family. After their homes were destroyed they fled in the woods to begin a new life.
